Mountain Thunder and Lightning

I love living in the mountains. When a thunder storm rolls through, it can get trapped between the peaks, circling over, around and back again. The thunder claps are almost deafening, rattling the windows, and the rain comes heavy and pounding. Big rain falling in fat drops (so long as I’m inside) has always been one of my favourite sounds. If there were train whistles in the distance, I’d be in coma.
